Supported by their vivid blue external armatures, these specimens exist as conspicuous and direct byproducts of the anthopocene– simultaneously geological specimens and cultural artifacts. As sculptural sketches for what are potentially larger architectural interventions, these forms seek to reframe instability and decay as integral to the politics of progress.
