Postdigital Rubble (gold)
concrete and gold leaf
Dimensions variable (approx 50 x 50 x 25 cm)

Postdigital Rubble (gold) is a sculptural investigation into technology as the extension of nature– a carefully fabricated fusion of digital and organic form. Each piece has been hand cast into one of several open-faced moulds. The cured concrete is broken into pieces, roughly knapped using a series of stone tools and then gilded to highlight the triangulated surfaces.
